A mythical artifact of the Timelords of Gallifrey. Built by Rassilon himself, it is said to have had the power to transvert time itself. Unfortunately, it was mistaken for a real cue ball by Skippilon, Rassilon's evil twin brother, who used it in a game of four-dimensional pool. The resulting energy release caused tornadoes, volcanoes, earthquakes, the explosion of three neighboring stars and sent the Cosmic Cue-Ball itself spinning off into the Space/Time Vortex where it was lost forever. Of course in these enlightened days no one believes a word of it.
